Desde la década de los 70 hemos mantenido viva la llama de este deporte en la ciudad de Burgos. Desde nuestro club llevamos trabajando casi 50 años en la formación de deportistas en todas franjas de edad y a todos los niveles, adaptando la preparación a las necesidades de cada atleta, no solo para la practica de Halterofilia si no también como complemento a otras disciplinas como Atletismo, Crossfit, Lanzamiento de peso, preparación para oposiciones a Cuerpos del Estado…
Cuna de Campeones tanto en categoría infantil como senior y veteranos, durante décadas han paseado el nombre de la ciudad por todo el mundo.
